How many hours will you be able to contribute to the team? (average per week) After my brief hiatus which is coming to its close, i will be able to dedicate about 3-5 hours daily

Have you had any previous staff experience? If so, please elaborate. I have owned, moderated, and acted as a lead lore-writer for numerous Discord-based Fantasy servers. The genre has varied from dark age to high fantasy.

What made you consider joining ET? In the current state of FRP, stagnation has become a significant blockade in new players maintaining an interest in the server AND for veterans to remain engaged. As someone who has been on the server for well over a year, i can accredit my sticking around to the series of events i was (and happily so) bombarded with throughout, and wish to share that thrill to the community through my passion of storytelling. I have also noticed a great lacking in pop-up events, and, more tragically so, natural disaster / natural sufferage events, such as the North having blizzards, a famine and/or blight of crops, plague, drought, you name it. Not enough danger in the world.

What can you offer to the Event Team that is unique? To begin with a sense of convenience, i can supply my fellow Australasians with events that dont make our sleep schedules writhe and our roleplay suffer; i firmly believe events should be available for everyone to attend without much sacrifice, and thus, such is a mild add on.

However, leaning more into my strength, i tend to stray away from the usage of horrors, beasts and overall power in my scenarios, opting rather for strategy, ambiguity and over-arching queries and dilemmas that do not become clear at the outset of the interaction. In my experience, events which simply rely on the goer having a mithril blade and a couple of synonyms lack in substance, and give a pointless bragging right and signed item. The stories and encounters i wish to provide should leave unanswered questions, and require strategy and genuine thought and caution. In way too many situations people will draw a random weapon and start poking at a random body part- gambling to see if an entity with potential for a developing story will just die, just like that. Encounters will be based on caution, not bravery (spawned from meta), and analysis rather than prediction, i can supply narratives that do not end with the conclusion of a fight, and leave open thoughts for characters to explore. I also aim to use this type of event to develop polished backstories for pink tags, something to build off of that ties them into the world, but also for my well-seasoned players who wish to further ignite the story and potential of this server.

What are some themes/genres of interest that you'd like to develop into events? As stated prior, my interests lie in the usage of the terrain itself and enigmatic figures, often not beasts and powerful entities (of course, that doesn't mean the odd grumpy troll encounter wouldnโ€™t occur, I would not be able to resist.). To not get everyone lost in a big paragraph, i will plot them out simply.

As I explained prior, we have forgotten we have a whole environment to be tormented by; not just warfare. Conflict can be generated in other ways besides race, rather, I enjoy the concept of something, say, a plague! Do you quarantine yourself and risk wiping out your nation? Or do you take the chance and run into your rival nation and pollute them with your dead and infectious? Do they kill you first before you can spread around?...The outcomes are far more expansive and interesting than your casual knife-ear warfare. Sometimes these events can bring people together, what about a blizzard and the north get cut off from the rest of the world, anyone there at the time of the storm, foreigners included, trapped in Dungrins Basin to outlast the viscous cold. Do we make a sewing club? Try to make plans to escort people home? Or just a massive medieval slumber party? Options are endless.

Too often the entities in encounters are unnaturally hostile or brutish- easy to cut down with no moral consequence or progression in a story. In the types of events Iโ€™m interested in, the players should see the opposition as sentient, and make choices and incite dialogue that adds a realism and humanity to an encounter- it should not always be an easy option to hack them to pieces. Mayhaps through something as long-turn as a repeating individual who is controversial and grey in perspective, carrying on a story, conquest or deal that holds ACTUAL CONSEQUENCES AND REWARDS IN CHOICE. Or, even something as basic and wholesome as a sad troll who sat on a thorn and is now wrecking up a storm in a city. Entity encounters shouldnโ€™t be black or white, and should provide the opportunity for characters to develop and show off their characterโ€™s traits.

Simply stated in the title, I want a FRP art fete, and you do too. A perfect opportunity for artists to have fun, and for everyone to laugh in an in-character self portrait competition. Something that allows us to expand on the creative aspect of Enari and Velnari history.

Something to keep people on their toes, and to keep pinkies engaged, not much to say besides that these are greatly needed.

Write out an extensive idea for a small event, directed towards a group of 4 players. The event should start once the group of travellers find themselves chatting to a senile man, far too old to even raise his walking stick in hostility! Yet he clings unwaveringly to a porcelain urn, shakily hand painted. The man appears rather lost, although cheery in nature, as his gaze darts around for some indication of a sign or direction- But what could his ordeal truly be?

He confesses to the group of travellers that the urn holds the cremated remains of his wife; who he had been married since the age of 18, she has but recently passed, and he wishes to go to a special spot, where they had once gone on dates to. He is but a bumbling old man now, and with the ages, he has forgotten the path to such a space; what would be known as the Ruins of Daliwren

A treacherous trek it would be, at first seemingly so due to the manโ€™s bumbling and slowness! But as the group began to traverse through the elven thickets- it would become noticeable that the lands have become terrain for goblins! And worst of all, they all sit around and play solitaire all day. Upon walking too close to the solitaire playing folk, they will accuse the travellers of making them mess up their plays, and call through their warhornsโ€ฆ ordering a rally!

The old man, far too withered to fight, is petrified! And the goblins seem awfully intrigued by the colourful urn in his clutches, and in desperation due to numbers, it is the travellerโ€™s task to escort the man into the ruins and fend off the growing army of Goblin folk. Some of the Goblinโ€™s are armed with nothing but playing cards, some holding heavy weaponry! The size and wit varying; the one thing in common is they are not too happy with the solitaire interruption.

Although the quest would be taxing from the numbers of green nuisances, should they succeed in fighting them off long enough for the old man to get to his desired spot within the ruins- they will be generously rewarded with treasures the man was once to give his wife, now unneeded by him.

Write out an extensive idea for a medium-sized event, directed towards a group of 8-10 players. Upon the shores of Ynslee- the sea would have seemingly just calmed from a series of violent storms; debris from far off washing up upon the bay for many days to come. Eventually, it would appear to the inhabitants of the Empire of Man- that people were washing up! Laying upon the grains and wrecked by the harsh waters; a whole tribe of people curled weakly, barely returning to consciousness.

Notably, the tribe-folk were horrifically frightened! The Enari being utterly new to them, yet, those who dubbed themselves the โ€˜eldersโ€™ of the folk, could speak common- and in their travesty, would request the group to assist them in setting up camp upon the shores. Although the tribe worked tirelessly, and thanked their hosts graciously for their assistance- they would express a longing for home, and their great tragedy.

The tribe inhabited the waters upon rafts, shifting from island to island in need for harvest, materials and stock; yet, in the most recent shift from one land to the next, they encountered what they described โ€˜the water itselfโ€™; who had destroyed their house-rafts and killed many of their people.

Their quest? They wish the Enari to assist them in rebuilding their rafts and seeking out the beast! Which they believe to be nearing the shore promptly. The Enari would be entasked with dividing themselves amongst the tribesfolk, searching for, and then defeating a water elemental, which had been terrorizing the folk! Confined to a large raft, the attendees would have to be wise and strategic about their methods of fighting.

Once the beast had been managed, the tribe's folk would thank the Enari graciously, hosting a farewell festival upon the shore to hail the heroes! followed then by gifting them treasures them in their gratitude. As the night set, the folk would ride off upon the timid waves, not to be seen again by the continent.

What is your take on item rewards? I personally believe that item rewards should be a memoir of a rewarding event- not connoting that they should be weak or invaluable by any means, but people should not attend events to obtain items. In my aims, i wish to conduct enriching and thrilling events, which are then topped up by the glimmer of a signed item, as the roleplay should be more than an essay for the gold star.

What is your vision for FRPโ€™s narrative? My vision is to see that FRP utilizes the community in its narrative, and that through more events, a concise story line can be formed. With an engaging tale and common goal amongst the players, erratic warfare and OOC drama will no longer be the driving force behind roleplay and conflict, rather, a time for recovery can be in place.
